2. Removal

  1. Grab your T25 and unscrew all four screws securing the air filter housing cover.

They're captive screws, so no need to remove them, just loosen them enough that they're no longer screwed in and can be moved up and down.

  2. Once they're all loosened, grab each one and lift them up as high as they go and turn them anti clockwise a little. Enough that they stay put as shown in the image below. This makes moving around and installing the cover easier later.

  3. Next, peer over the rear of the cover and notice the three latches keeping the cover in place.

Simply slide the cover towards you to unlatch each prong. You'll notice on mine one latch is broke.

  4. Now, the cover doesn't actually come of, just lift it up about 30%, enough to get your hand in there and remove the air filter.

Quick tip, you can rest one of the prongs on the cowl seal to keep the cover propped up.

🏁 Conclusion

Reassembly is the reverse of removal.

When fitting the new filter, ensure the groove on it slots onto the rim of the housing. The filter should sit completely flush.
